These studs are set in 14KW gold, and the pearls are a pair of spectacular, hard to find smaller Akoya that are just the tiniest hair away from being full blown gem quality, but aren't completely matched identically and have a small spot on the southern hemisphere. 
 
Except on close, side by side inspection to a gem pair, they're almost indistinguishable and are a fantastic value for anyone wanting a super lustrous pair of studs.
